CBSE Board Exam 2024: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has recently announced some important changes in the answer book pattern for the Class 12 Accountancy exam. In an official notice released recently, the board has stated that the answer booklets that contained tables for the subject of Accountancy will be eliminated.
Revised in Class 12 Accountancy Answer Book Pattern
Starting from the board exams in 2023-24, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to discontinue the use of answer books with printed tables for the subject of Accountancy in Class 12. Instead, students will be provided with normal lined answer books, aligning with the format used for other subjects. This change was communicated to CBSE-affiliated schools through a letter to principals, citing feedback from stakeholders as the reason for the adjustment in examination materials.
Extended Deadline for Registration Data Submission 2023
In addition to the changes in the Accountancy answer book pattern, CBSE has also extended the last date for submitting registration data for the classes 9 and 11 students appearing in the 2023-24 board exams. The last date to submit the registration data without late fees has been extended to October 25, 2023. This decision was made considering various representations received from schools.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023
CBSE has started the registration process for the Single Girl Child Scholarship. Students can apply for both fresh scholarship and renewal for the year 2023 online on the official website of the board at cbse.gov.in. This merit-based scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving single-girl students and recognizes the efforts of parents in promoting education among girls. The rate of scholarship is set at Rs 500 per month.
